Consider Staying at an Orlando Condo, Rental Home Or a Disney Resort Hotel

Most families enjoy a trip to Disney World and the magic of staying in Orlando, Florida, partly because the area is a major tourist destination and the home of SeaWorld, Universal Orlando Resort, Lake Buena Vista, and Walt Disney World is 21 miles southwest of downtown Orlando.

The problem is deciding where to stay, as there are 113,000 guestrooms and 500 hotels in this one city. The accommodations range from themed hotels and luxury resorts to economy motels/hotels, charming bed and breakfasts, and campgrounds. Plus, there is over 26,000 vacation home rentals and even 16,000 vacation condos. The choices are unlimited and it can be hard to know the right place for your family, whether it is a rental home, Orlando condo or a themed hotel.

Some think all Disney hotels are expensive, but they range between $80 to $800 a night. Some hotels offer bedroom units or suites, while others provide deals like pay for four days and stay for seven. The nice thing about staying at a Disney property is transportation and maid service are provided. There are special deals offered for many of the 95 attractions and hotels. Plus, there are pools, restaurants, workout rooms and other amenities.

Another lodging option is staying at a luxurious Orlando condo or rental home. Some include private pools and Disney themes, making it feel like your own Disney haven. Some people discover a week's stay at a three-bedroom condo is the same as staying two nights in a hotel. Many enjoy the extra room and privacy.

Some don't like the lack of "convenience" they feel when staying at a condo. However, there are ways to get around this issue. It is important to stay somewhere your family feels comfortable, whether it is a hotel, rental home or an Orlando condo.
