Many of the homes and rental condos in these areas come equipped with private pools or spas and are often pet friendly, just in case you want to bring an extra member of your family along for fun in the sun. A majority of the rental properties in these areas are also within walking distance of the beautiful beaches that hug the barrier islands, so you may be quite comfortable not renting a car or even bringing your own.
